What's planned for parking at the A's Las Vegas ballpark: the A's garage, Bally's spaces, MGM Resorts garages, club seat parking, alternatives, and open questions.
Quick answer: The A's plan an on-site garage of about 1,500 spaces, and Bally's plans roughly 1,500 more on the former Tropicana site, for about 3,055 on-site spaces in total, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. The ballpark will also lean on 30,000+ spaces at nearby MGM Resorts properties. Prices and how to buy parking are not announced yet.
Parking is one of the first questions fans ask about the new ballpark, and it is also one of the areas where the least has been officially announced. Here is what has been confirmed by the team, what has been reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, and what is still a blank. How Much Parking Is Planned at the Ballpark Site?
The ballpark sits on the former Tropicana site at Las Vegas Blvd and Tropicana Ave, at the south end of the Strip. It uses about 9 acres of the 35-acre site, and Bally's controls the rest for a mixed-use project (reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, September 2026). That split matters for parking, because the spaces on the site come from two different owners.
The A's garage
The A's plan an on-site garage of about 1,500 spaces on the southeast corner of the site, according to the Review-Journal (August 19, 2026). Earlier plans called for about 2,500 spaces, so the number has come down. The team has not announced who can park there beyond premium members, covered below.
Bally's planned spaces
Bally's plans add more on-site parking, as reported by the Review-Journal on August 19, 2026:
- A garage of about 953 spaces under the plaza
- A temporary surface lot of about 532 spaces
- About 3,055 on-site spaces in total when combined with the A's garage
The word "temporary" is worth noting. The Bally's side of the site is planned for future development, so that surface lot is not presented as a permanent feature.
Will the Ballpark Rely on MGM Resorts Garages?

Yes, based on what has been reported. About 3,055 on-site spaces is a small number for a ballpark of about 33,000 capacity, and the Review-Journal reported that the ballpark will also rely on nearby MGM Resorts properties, with more than 30,000 spaces within walking distance (August 19, 2026). MGM Grand is directly across Tropicana Ave from the site, and existing pedestrian bridges link Excalibur and MGM Grand to the intersection (Review-Journal, May 2026).
MGM Resorts' own parking page, checked October 4, 2026, gives a few general rules that are useful to know now. It says prices may be higher and certain complimentary offers may not apply during special events. Nevada residents get the first three hours of self-parking free with a valid Nevada driver license, except during special events. MGM Rewards members at the Pearl tier and above are listed as eligible for complimentary event parking, subject to availability. Whether A's games will count as special events at those garages has not been announced, so treat any free-parking plan as unconfirmed until game-day rules are out.
Do Club Seat Holders Get Parking?
Confirmed by the team: full-season club seat members get on-site garage parking at the ballpark, with details to come "closer to Opening Day 2028," according to the team's Ballpark Experience site. Executive Suites are listed with four on-site parking passes and access to a private VIP entrance. If you are weighing a premium package, ask your sales rep exactly what parking is included. Our season tickets guide covers how premium and priority access work.
How Do T-Mobile Arena and Allegiant Stadium Handle Parking Today?
's plans roughly 1,500 more on the former Tropicana site, for about 3,055 on-site spaces in total, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
The two big venues nearby are useful context, not a prediction of what the A's will do.
T-Mobile Arena
T-Mobile Arena has no on-site parking. Its official directions page lists prepaid reserved parking at Park MGM, New York-New York and Aria, an Uber drop-off at the New York-New York garage, the RTC VGK Express bus and the Monorail.
Allegiant Stadium
Allegiant Stadium's official page lists on-site lots that are cashless with no re-entry, recommends booking through SpotHero, and also points fans to MGM resort parking. Rideshare uses Lot N, and the RTC Game Day Express runs from six casinos.
The A's setup looks like a blend of the two: some on-site parking like Allegiant, with heavy reliance on resort garages and walking like T-Mobile Arena. How the team will sell or manage its own spaces is still unknown.
What Are the Alternatives to Driving?
- Walking from Strip resorts. The main entrance is planned as an elevated plaza tied into the Las Vegas Blvd and Tropicana Ave pedestrian bridges, about 38 feet up, as reported by the Review-Journal. If you are staying at a nearby resort, walking may be the simplest option. Walking times have not been published. See our hotels near the ballpark guide.
- Rideshare. A rideshare pickup and drop-off zone has not been announced. The Review-Journal reported there will be no main car entrance from Tropicana Ave, and that the Reno Ave and Giles St intersection is being rebuilt, with a pedestrian bridge over the site's car entry.
- Bus. A new RTC bus stop on southbound Giles St is planned, per the Review-Journal. A game-day bus route has not been announced.
- Monorail. Its southern end is the MGM Grand station, across the street. The Review-Journal has reported it is expected to be decommissioned eventually, with no date set.

What Is Still Unknown
- Parking prices at the A's garage, the Bally's garage and the temporary lot
- How general fans will buy parking, and whether it is prepaid only
- Whether nearby MGM Resorts garages will charge event rates for A's games
- A rideshare zone, game-day bus service or shuttles
- Walking times from nearby resorts
- Club seat parking details, which the team says come closer to Opening Day 2028
We will update this page as the team announces details. Until then, be skeptical of any site quoting ballpark parking prices or lot names.
